Experience Level: Senior Level
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for enterprise or complex software sales
- Experience selling ERP, financial systems, or mission-critical platforms to large organizations is highly valued
- Familiarity with the commercial real estate ecosystem—including ownership, asset management, accounting, leasing, investment, and operations—and an understanding of how technology decisions impact these functions at scale
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets through net-new business in competitive, long-cycle sales environments
- Proven ability to engage credibly with senior decision-makers (CIO, CFO, COO, and executive leadership) and navigate multi-stakeholder decision processes
- Strong presentation, discovery, and negotiation capabilities, with the judgment to position value, manage risk, and advance complex deals thoughtfully
- Comfortable operating independently across a large territory, prioritizing effectively, and driving outcomes with a high degree of personal accountability while collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated comfort leveraging CRM systems and modern sales technologies as planning and execution tools—not just reporting requirements

Yardi is actively seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Sales Account Executive to spearhead enterprise new business acquisition across a strategically vital territory covering the West and Central regions. This pivotal role is dedicated to engaging, educating, and converting top-tier commercial real estate owners and operators as they navigate the evaluation of mission-critical ERP platforms. Responsibilities include spearheading net-new enterprise sales, identifying and cultivating relationships with major commercial real estate entities, and developing strategic prospecting plans to advance complex sales cycles. You will manage the entire enterprise sales journey, from initial contact through contract finalization, while maintaining momentum across protracted, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes. Conduct discovery-driven conversations to deeply understand prospect priorities, potential risks, and operational challenges, articulating Yardi’s distinct value proposition as a mission-critical ERP solution aligned with client business objectives. Cultivate and maintain robust, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, including CIOs, CFOs, COOs, and executive leadership, acting as a valued advisor throughout the evaluation and selection process. Consistently achieve or surpass annual sales targets by adeptly prioritizing high-impact opportunities, exercising sound territory judgment, and optimizing resource allocation. Collaborate closely with sales engineering, product, marketing, leadership, and client services teams to deliver impactful presentations, align on strategic initiatives, and ensure successful deal execution. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the commercial real estate landscape, competitive ERP offerings, and emerging client needs to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities. Ensure accurate and timely tracking of opportunities and forecasting within CRM systems, communicating progress, risks, and key developments clearly to sales leadership. Drive the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to closing, ensuring a seamless client experience and strong engagement throughout. Effectively communicate Yardi’s value and market differentiation, aligning solutions with prospect needs and challenges. Leverage in-depth knowledge of Yardi’s cutting-edge commercial real estate software solutions to demonstrate tangible value to potential clients, employing consultative sales techniques to understand and address prospect challenges. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at C-level, VP, and Director levels within strategic commercial real estate organizations. Meet or exceed annual sales targets through successful deal closures, utilizing territory insights and data to prioritize opportunities and maximize sales effectiveness. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies, presentations, and solution delivery, contributing to the development of go-to-market initiatives. Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and the evolving needs of the commercial real estate sector to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly. Own accurate pipeline management and forecasting by consistently utilizing Yardi’s CRM and other prospecting tools, developing functional familiarity with Yardi’s product platform to support high-level demonstrations and informed customer conversations, demonstrating curiosity and ownership of the solution in close partnership with Sales Engineering.
