Seasonal Event Coordinator

Join the legendary Churchill Downs Racetrack, home of The Kentucky Derby, as a Seasonal Event Coordinator in Louisville, KY. This role is crucial for planning, organizing, and executing promotional events and providing exceptional customer service. You will work directly with clients to facilitate group sales events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. Responsibilities include detailed communication across departments, creating event orders and layouts, resolving guest inquiries regarding pricing, seating, and other concerns, and facilitating events for Group Sales, Marketing, Premium Ticketing, and Community Relations. You'll proactively confirm event details with clients and sales teams, offering day-of support. This position demands promoting outstanding customer service within all Group Sales venues, adeptly addressing and resolving guest complaints, and maintaining professional, courteous communication with every patron. Additional duties include administrative tasks, light physical event setup, coordinating paddock tours and trophy presentations, educating patrons on wagering and facility amenities, and assisting guests with special needs. Extensive walking and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays are essential.
