Join CDW as a Schneider Electric (APC) Business Development Manager for the Education sector in Shelton, CT. This role is pivotal in accelerating growth within the education market by fostering strategic partnerships and delivering innovative IT solutions and services tailored to meet evolving customer demands. You will collaborate with sales teams to optimize and close opportunities, drive partner solution enablement and training, define target markets, assess existing relationships, and execute comprehensive growth strategies. Building a robust long-term pipeline and forecasting against monthly sales targets are key responsibilities. Develop strong internal and external relationships with sales professionals and leaders to foster collaboration and drive mutual success. Partner closely with sales to engage multiple customer stakeholders, including executives, program leads, technical experts, and procurement, to influence final requirements. Act as the subject matter expert in customer visits, presentations, conference calls, and webinars, actively participating in large transaction sales cycles. Coordinate legal and financial agreements, such as NDAs and Teaming Agreements, prior to RFP releases. Analyze customer purchasing trends and partner technology advancements to develop strategies that increase sales team market share. Effectively articulate the partner value proposition to both partners and customers. Collaborate with CDW marketing and internal PPM stakeholders to develop go-to-market plans supporting OEM partner strategies and regional events. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring approximately 25% travel.
