As a Senior Analyst in the EY-Valuations team, you will help clients understand the value of their business and assets. This role is within the Valuation, Modelling, and Economics (VME) team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct economic analyses, including market trends and policy impacts.
• Develop and maintain economic and financial models.
• Analyze macroeconomic and industry-specific data.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Monitor economic indicators and trends.
• Support policy and program evaluations.
• Mentor junior analysts.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Collaborate with clients to tailor valuation solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
• Identify and propose strategies related to procedures.
• Assume a steering role in report generation and detailed financial modeling.
• Maintain positive relationships with EY offices globally.
• Demonstrate teamwork with engagement team members.
• Use technology and tools to enhance services.
• Identify business development opportunities.
• Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Excellent project management, communication, and teaming skills.
• Experience in research and impact analysis.
• Experience in financial modeling and quantitative techniques.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in sectors like Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Technology, Consumer Products, Power and Utilities and Life Science is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Exposure to databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg etc.

To Qualify:

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• 3 to 4 years of related work experience.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in economic impact analysis studies, econometric analysis, and macro/micro economic studies.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Project management skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
