GDS SaT – Senior Analyst – Transaction Diligence

EY is seeking a Senior Analyst for Transaction Diligence (TD) within its Global Delivery Services (GDS) in Noida, India. The role focuses on financial due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and related financial analysis. Responsibilities include understanding the due diligence process, financial analysis, report writing, mentoring team members, ensuring service quality, and managing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial due diligence, external audit, and/or mergers and acquisitions, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Candidates should ideally have experience in sectors like Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Technology, Consumer Products, Power and Utilities and Life Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the due diligence process and financial analysis.
• Counsel team members on KPIs and key drivers.
• Ensure the quality of client service.
• Measure, monitor and improve client service delivery.
• Focus teams on key priorities and manage projects.
• Ensure smooth service delivery within the defined geographical area.
• Produce assignment budgets and manage delivery against them.
• Reviews quality of deliverables
• Identifies, develops and implements best practices in projects.

Skills and Attributes:

• Relevant external audit or mergers and acquisitions experience.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to adapt to new situations.
• Experience in Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Technology, Consumer Products, Power and Utilities and Life Science is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teaming skills.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountancy degree or MBA in Finance with 1-3 years of experience.
