About the Role
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Analyst to support the growth of our Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) business, targeting OEMs, panel builders, distributors, and industrial customers. This role involves data analysis, market intelligence, pricing support, and sales performance tracking for data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will understand industrial markets and translate sales/marketing data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Analytics
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales data of VFDs and related products
- Track region-wise, product-wise, and channel-wise performance
- Monitor OEM, panel builder, and distributor sales trends
- Support sales forecasting and demand planning
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct market research on VFD applications (Pumps, HVAC, Water Treatment, Solar, Sugar, Cement, Steel, Process Industries)
- Analyze competitor products, pricing, positioning, and market share
- Identify new industry segments, government projects, and growth opportunities
Marketing Analytics & Support
- Measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns, lead generation, and conversions
- Track inquiries, quotations, order conversion ratios, and sales funnel health
- Support go-to-market strategy and product positioning
Pricing & Strategy Support
- Assist in pricing analysis based on market trends and competitor benchmarks
- Analyze cost vs margin for different VFD ratings and applications
- Support management with dashboards, reports, and business reviews
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Management teams
- Support channel partners with data, presentations, and market insights
- Prepare MIS reports, presentations, and strategic documents
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
- 2–6 years of experience in sales analytics / marketing analytics (industrial domain preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Excel, data analysis, reporting, and dashboards
- Understanding of industrial automation products (VFDs, motors, panels, drives) is a plus
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in VFDs, Drives, Motors, Automation, Electrical or Power Electronics industry
- Exposure to OEM sales, channel sales, or industrial marketing
- Familiarity with CRM tools and ERP systems
