Red Hat Ansible Developer Engineer

As a Red Hat Ansible Developer Engineer at ABB, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and operating automation solutions using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). Your primary focus will be on automating complex IT processes to improve service reliability and operational efficiency. You will act as a key technical expert and advisor for automation services, working onsite/hybrid. Your stakeholders will include Infrastructure Teams, Application Owners, Service Management, and Security.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively support the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of services related to Information Systems.
• Identify and report inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.
• Review requirements and specifications, taking action within your scope of responsibility.
• Install and test new versions and coordinate the resolution of service problems.

You will join a collaborative and technically strong automation-driven team. Qualifications include strong hands-on experience with Ansible and AAP, including playbook development, managing roles, inventories, and workflows; proven experience in automation, systems engineering, DevOps or/and Infrastructure operations; a solid understanding of Python, Linux, and Windows systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT environments; good knowledge of version control (Git) and automation best practices; and a strong problem-solving mindset. You must be comfortable communicating in English and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
