Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic mobile team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and launching new features for our iOS and Android applications using React Native. You will become part of an engineering team that holds end-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle and app architecture, contributing to innovative lottery solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features using React Native based on clear functional requirements.
  • Implement features requested by the product team, focusing on delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Actively participate in group design discussions, providing valuable input on the design of complete product components.
  • Comprehend design discussions related to the interconnectivity of product components and major product subsystems.
  • Maintain and modify existing applications, address bugs, and execute software service requests.
  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Build foundational products that can be utilized by implementation teams.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and React.
  • Solid understanding of design and architecture patterns.
  • Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
  • Strong emphasis on application performance, code clarity, and modular design.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts at both high and low levels.
  • Comfortable using Git for version control.
  • Familiarity with React Native development.
  • Good command of the English language.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Knowledge of monorepos and Lerna.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and writing automated tests.
  • Previous experience using JIRA for project management.
  • Understanding of Objective-C, Swift, or Java.
