QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test suites for our FinTech platform, Prism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation and a passion for ensuring software quality. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test suites to ensure the quality of software products.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and scenarios.
• Utilize automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing of APIs to validate functionality, performance, and security.
• Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
• Guide the team efficiently with the hands-on experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Java and scripting languages, demonstrating strong coding abilities.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and CRM is advantageous.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Working knowledge of TestNG, Maven, Jenkins & Linux VMs for efficient test management and execution.
• Ability to execute test scripts proficiently and analyze results effectively.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience in API Testing, ensuring robustness and reliability of backend services.
• Basic understanding of the Banking Domain or Trade Life Cycle is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• 1 to 5 years of progressive experience in IT, with a focus on QA automation for minimum 2 years.
