Essentia Health in Duluth, MN, seeks a dynamic Program Manager specializing in Grateful Patients & Major Gifts. This pivotal role is responsible for cultivating and managing a significant portfolio of major gift donors, developing strategic relationships, and fostering donor engagement through effective stewardship. As a key external liaison for the Grateful Patient Program, you will collaborate closely with healthcare teams, including physicians, to identify and cultivate grateful patients into major gift prospects. You will also work with the Development leadership team to strategically plan and execute the Grateful Patient Program, serving as project manager for its daily operations and implementation. This position involves close collaboration with Major Gift, Research, and Service teams to ensure the program's success, including the development of necessary data, proposals, assets, events, and marketing materials. You will be instrumental in preparing and delivering presentations to various audiences to raise awareness and support for the Grateful Patient Program, as well as coordinating training and educational initiatives across the system. Responsibilities include monitoring donor relationship progress with key metrics, partnering with leadership to expand legacy and planned giving, managing regional development plans, and supporting local events to enhance constituent participation and encourage major giving. Maintaining a strong understanding of fundraising best practices and foundation needs is crucial for optimizing fundraising plans and ensuring the efficient management of the regional foundation budget. A valid motor vehicle operator's license and current motor vehicle insurance are required. This is a full-time, hybrid position.
