Power BI Developer (Remote, US/UK Time Zones)

About the Role

As a Senior Power BI Developer at SWOT, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand diverse reporting needs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity while delivering tailored, high-impact analytical solutions that drive business trends and KPI tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-impact, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
• Connect, import, and transform data from various sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud services) using Power Query and Dataflows.
• Write complex DAX formulas to create calculated columns, measures, and tables for advanced data modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments to understand their reporting requirements and deliver customized, actionable solutions.
• Ensure the highest level of data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer, Business Intelligence Analyst, or a similar data analytics role.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Power BI Desktop, including Power Query for data transformation and advanced DAX for data modeling and calculations.
• SQL: Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Work Setting: Must be available and comfortable working during US/UK time zone hours to facilitate seamless collaboration with international teams and clients.
