Trypdeals is a fast-growing travel platform focused on scalable destination pages, structured tour packages, hotel listings, and API-driven travel inventory. We are building a technically strong SEO-optimized travel commerce engine and are looking for a backend-focused WordPress developer to help scale the platform.

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically proficient WordPress Backend Developer with expertise in custom architecture, scalable page structures, API integrations, and technical SEO implementation. This role is ideal for an individual who can think in systems and construct long-term, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Custom Post Types and Taxonomies.
• Build dynamic templates with minimal reliance on page builders.
• Implement scalable URL architecture.
• Integrate third-party REST APIs for hotel and travel inventory.
• Handle JSON data parsing and API response caching.
• Set up cron jobs for scheduled data synchronization.
• Optimize database queries and overall performance.
• Implement schema markup, including FAQ and breadcrumb schema.
• Manage sitemap customization and canonical structure.
• Improve Core Web Vitals and overall site speed.
• Develop logic for internal linking automation.
• Ensure adherence to WordPress security best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in WordPress core development.
• Good knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with REST API integrations.
• Understanding of JSON handling and authentication tokens.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms and performance optimization.
• Understanding of technical SEO implementation.
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields or similar field systems.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience handling large-scale content websites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on travel or e-commerce websites.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
• Experience with WhatsApp API or booking funnels.
• Basic server management and CDN configuration.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of WordPress development experience.
• Proven experience in backend-focused projects.
• Experience handling scalable or programmatic SEO projects is preferred.

Work Structure

• Part-time engagement.
• Estimated 8 to 15 hours per week.
• Flexible working hours.
• Remote work (Hybrid option available in Vasundhra, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh).

Compensation

Competitive monthly retainer based on experience. Open to discussion depending on skill level.
