About the Role

Spiral Compute NZ is seeking a full-time remote PHP Software Developer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a skilled developer looking to contribute to the design and development of robust backend systems and high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications.
• Build and maintain high-performance web applications.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work with CRM platforms and tracking systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
• Communicate technical updates and clarifications with clients when required.
• Provide realistic time estimates and meet delivery timelines.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in PHP.
• Experience with at least one MVC framework (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integrations.
• Working knowledge of Git-based development workflows (branching, pull requests, merges).
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL preferred).
• Basic understanding of AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with tracking systems.
