This crucial role involves meticulously verifying health insurance coverage, collecting essential financial and demographic information from patients and external sources, and ensuring accuracy in insurance details. As a key liaison between the verification process and reimbursement teams, you will play a vital part in optimizing patient financial services. Responsibilities include obtaining comprehensive financial and demographic data, verifying primary and secondary insurance information, communicating any insurance changes to nursing staff, informing discharge planners about patient financial responsibilities, accurately completing insurance verification forms, and diligently entering verified data into our systems. This is a full-time, onsite position contributing to the smooth operation of patient access services within a leading healthcare organization in the Mount Kisco, NY region.
