Part Time - Receiver/Stocker - Flexible

Lowe's Companies, Inc., a leading home improvement retailer, is seeking a Part-Time Receiver/Stocker for its Dickson City, PA location. This role is crucial for maintaining store organization and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming freight, efficiently stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This is an onsite, part-time position offering flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering inquiries, and offering support for their home improvement projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and preparing pallets for display.
• Support overall store operations by verifying deliveries, preparing the dock area, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment by adhering to proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, equipment usage, and general housekeeping.
• Operate various store equipment, including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other necessary tools.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Utilize the Orders App for picking and staging Flatbed Delivery orders.
• Load delivery orders, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safe loading practices.
• Manage order rotation based on delivery dates and address any customer order discrepancies.
• Proactively communicate with customers to guarantee satisfaction with their delivery.
• Implement and execute best practices for Delivery Readiness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience operating forklift/power equipment (e.g., lifts, order pickers) is preferred (3 months).
• Warehouse experience in inventory handling and stocking is preferred (6 months).
