Apex Systems, a world-class IT services company serving thousands of clients globally, is seeking a skilled Learning Content Developer to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This pivotal role supports a major Payroll Transformation Project, focusing on designing and developing impactful learning materials to ensure the successful adoption of new payroll systems and processes. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and project teams to craft engaging content that elevates the learning experience for our users.

As a Learning Content Developer, you will:

  • Identify and define learning needs for your designated subject area.
  • Create high-quality learning assets including instructor-led training (ILT), job aids, quick reference guides, videos, and frequently asked questions (FAQs).
  • Translate intricate payroll processes and system modifications into clear, easily understandable, and user-friendly learning modules.
  • Leverage adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to guarantee effective knowledge transfer.
  • Partner with payroll subject matter experts (SMEs), HR teams, system implementation partners, and change management leads to gather and validate content accuracy.
  • Collaborate with communications and training teams to maintain message consistency and align learning outcomes.
  • Thoroughly review and test all learning materials for accuracy, clarity, and overall usability.
  • Incorporate feedback from learners and stakeholders to drive continuous content improvement.
  • Support the creation of relevant learning assessments.
  • Manage multiple project deliverables, ensuring timely completion within project timelines and milestones.
  • Maintain rigorous version control and documentation for all learning materials.
  • Contribute to the broader change management and adoption strategy for the payroll transformation initiative.
