Medical Devices Software Engineer – Technical Lead

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Medical Devices Software Engineer (Technical Lead) to own end-to-end software development for regulated medical device products in Bengaluru. This role involves technical leadership across requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release, with full responsibility for compliance-driven development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end medical device software development across the full lifecycle
• Define and review software requirements, architecture, and detailed design
• Drive coding and testing activities including unit, integration, and system testing
• Prepare and review test plans, protocols, and reports
• Own release management and software configuration control
• Lead and mentor a team of firmware / software engineers
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulatory standards
• Work closely with hardware and software test teams during development and validation
• Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Take complete technical ownership of assigned projects

Required Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline
• 8–10 years of experience in medical device software development
• Strong hands-on experience with C programming
• Proven experience working in regulated medical device environments
• Solid understanding of IEC 62304 and ISO 13485 compliance
• Experience leading software or firmware teams is mandatory
