Mechanical Engineer - Rotational Dynamics

Alstom, a prominent leader in transport networks and mobility solutions, is actively seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in Rotational Dynamics to join their esteemed team in West Mifflin, PA. This critical role focuses on the development and seamless integration of Mechanical Drive Assembly Products, ensuring strict adherence to quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments. The successful candidate will perform advanced 3D modeling, create essential technical documentation, apply design annotations, and generate 2D deliverables, all while meticulously managing requirements related to allocated volumes, weight, interfaces, and relevant industry standards. Responsibilities include detailed design of internal subsystems, preparing and documenting crucial Design Reviews, supporting Project Design Gates, and overseeing the quality of detailed design documentation and subcontractors' designs. This position also involves realizing and maintaining the Engineering Bill of Material, and taking ownership of planning and leading Mechanical Drive activities for assigned zones, ensuring all deliverables meet stringent customer and project specifications.
