Marketing Intern (PNW)

This internship offers invaluable practical experience in the development and residential real estate industry. The intern will provide crucial support in marketing and development activities, gaining insights into customer understanding and data analysis.

Key Learning Opportunities:

• Exposure to community brand development through advertising, social media, public relations, and Center-Led Teams.
• Understanding collaboration with agency partners through observation of calls and strategy discussions.
• Familiarization with the process of reviewing and proofing marketing materials for consistency and accuracy.
• Support in event planning and on-site event execution, including setup and guest flow assistance.
• Website updates, including product uploads, gathering builder updates, and content preparation for blogs and events.
• Development of nurturing email campaigns, covering ideation, research, and content coordination.
• Learning how marketing platforms like Salesforce, Umbraco, Canva, Google Analytics, and Power BI support reporting and brand initiatives.
• Understanding how the marketing team supports relationships with builder sales agents and collects community updates.
• Monitoring and communication of pricing, incentives, and product information.
• Insight into the structure of quarterly builder/marketing meetings and the information shared.
• Gaining knowledge on how builder product details (plans, pricing, lots) enhance the customer experience.
• Understanding the Marketing team's interface with community Homeowners Associations.
• Familiarization with market research platforms: JBREC, Zonda/MetroStudy, Kantar, Google Analytics, Power BI, Salesforce.
• Learning how data drives marketing decisions in product segmentation, pricing, traffic, and competitive analysis.
• Understanding the creation of customer profiles (demographic and psychographic).
• Distinguishing between on-site and online guest engagement metrics.
• Assisting with simple data pulls, spreadsheet organization, and summarizing findings under supervision.

Welcome Center Experience:

The intern will spend time within the Welcome Center to understand:

• How the vision and story of Tehaleh and its master-planned community are communicated.
• Best practices in greeting, guiding, and preparing shoppers for builder visits.
• Excellence in customer service across in-person, phone, chat, and virtual interactions.
• Daily operational tasks crucial for smooth Welcome Center functioning.
• Opportunities to greet guests, observe customer interactions, and perform tasks such as restocking brochures or assisting with check-ins.
