Full Job Description
Role: Manager - Monitoring (WC)
Reports To: Monitoring Lead
Role Purpose & Objective:
- Monitor the overall portfolio, set up triggers, dashboards, and define action items for revenue generation and course correction.
- Plan, Set-up, and Own the Early Warning System (EWS) set-up.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Business/ Financials
- Monitor the portfolio to reduce delinquency in the MSME book.
- Liaise with customer-facing teams for income generation from monitoring activities.
- Coordinate timely updates between Sales, Credit, and Collections teams for stressed accounts.
Customer (Internal & External)
- Communicate with all areas of the company including distribution/sales, credit, operations, technology, communication, and strategy.
- Maintain relationships with control functions like Audit, Compliance, and Risk.
Internal Process
- Engage with business teams to understand monitoring pain points and provide input during product development.
- Publish reports and MIS tracking delinquency levels, exits, and pending items.
- Prepare management presentations related to portfolio health.
- Monitor fund-based, non-fund-based, and term loan products (utilization, churning, bounces, etc.).
- Follow up with customers, teams, or groups for closures.
- Regularly share MIS/trackers with stakeholders.
Innovation & Learning
- Train field staff.
- Adhere to training programs.
- Forecast product/policy changes based on customer feedback.
Minimum Requirements of Knowledge & Skills:
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent/CA
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Portfolio Monitoring, or Credit Risk in Banks/SFBs.
