Full Job Description

IES Communications is seeking a skilled Communications Technician II to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is crucial for installing and maintaining advanced communication systems. You will lead a team of installers, ensuring all projects adhere to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include detailed installation of work area outlets (terminating CAT 3 & CAT 5 jacks, mounting face plates and surface mount boxes), building communication closets (mounting backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, and grounding), and performing comprehensive cable testing (continuity, voltage, troubleshooting opens, crosses, shorts, and transposed pairs). You will also identify active voice or data circuits, manage crew performance and training, and accurately complete all required project documentation. This position requires adherence to all company, customer, and industry quality and safety regulations.
