Locksmith / Sr Carpenter - Engineering

Hartford HealthCare, Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network, is seeking a skilled Senior Carpenter to join our Engineering team in Hartford, CT. This full-time, onsite position is crucial for the maintenance, repair, and construction of our hospital buildings and furniture. You will be responsible for installing a variety of materials, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant codes and standards, and collaborating effectively with your colleagues to deliver exceptional service to our hospital units. The role may involve working with foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, counters, workstations, partitions, doors, and windows. Additionally, you will perform hardware repairs and locksmithing duties, including the installation of locks to maintain departmental security. Repairing worn and broken wooden furniture, designing and constructing custom carpentry solutions like cabinets and doors, and determining material and labor needs for projects are also key aspects of this role.
