Clean Harbors India is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad. This role involves thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication on Data Science and execution for complex problems.

• Design and implement data-driven solutions using Microsoft Azure tools like Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and implement sophisticated AI models.
• Lead a team of data scientists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Leverage large volumes of data.
• Drive feedback loops for models.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, machine learning, and cloud computing.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in data science/machine learning.
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure data science tools.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases and Data Fabric architectures.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of deep learning and neural networks.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer
