About the Role: Lead AWS DevOps Engineer

Atyeti Inc is seeking an experienced Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role focuses on architecting, building, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implementation: Architect, build, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant AWS systems.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to streamline development workflows.
• Monitoring & Performance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability. Implement logging and monitoring solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices using AWS services like IAM and KMS, and ensure infrastructure complies with security policies.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with development teams to improve software delivery processes. Mentor junior engineers and often lead complex projects.
• Cost Optimization: Manage and optimize AWS cloud expenditure through strategic resource management and automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 12 years of overall experience.
• AWS Proficiency: Deep expertise in core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM. Experience with serverless, event-driven architectures.
• Automation & Scripting: Strong skills in scripting languages, particularly Python/Go and Bash, for automating tasks and processes.
• Containerization: Solid understanding of container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Configuration Management: Experience with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative platforms like GitHub.
