DRB Homes, a prominent force in land development and home construction, is seeking a skilled Land Development Manager to join our team in Tempe, AZ. This role is crucial for developing properties and delivering finished lots ready for home construction. You will collaborate closely with the Division President, providing essential support in the engineering and operational aspects of community land development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with civil engineers and planners on land entitlement and permitting processes.
- Soliciting and evaluating bids, establishing comprehensive budgets and schedules, and overseeing all development work.
- Ensuring development projects meet required standards for quality, schedule, and budget.
- Providing ongoing oversight and documentation for soil, erosion, and sediment control measures.
- Working with community management companies to effectively resolve issues.
- Attending annual HOA meetings and reviewing/approving HOA budgets.
- Reviewing and ruling on Architectural Review submissions.
- Overseeing Community Manager efforts to ensure well-managed communities.
- Assisting in identifying and evaluating potential land or lot acquisitions, including development and building costs, market demand, pricing, and potential market viability.
- Managing ongoing entitlement and bond requirements for owned properties.
- Renewing and updating permits as necessary.
- Managing the bond release process, including coordinating inspections and completing required work.
- Supporting home building and new home sales teams.
- Providing HOA documents and budget information as needed.
- Evaluating and establishing matrices for lot fit and characteristics.
- Addressing all land-related questions and issues as they arise.
