- Ability to work a 10+ hour shift standing, bending, reaching. As well as, climbing on and through stairs, molds, and staging throughout the duration of your shift
- Moderate lifting ability up to 50 lbs
- Have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals
- Must adhere to all quality standards and adhere to new standards as processes evolve
- Must demonstrate record of dependability and reliability with prior work or professional experience
- Must demonstrate the ability to work well with team's professionals
- Understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Ability to work in close proximity to co-workers and work in areas with limited space
- Must follow all safety standards and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal Protective Equipment

Brunswick Corporation, a global leader in marine innovation, is seeking a skilled Lamination Technician for their facility in Vonore, TN. This role involves performing routine mix and lay-up of composite materials, including fiberglass and resins, using various hand and power tools. The technician will also utilize open mold and vacuum infusion processes, working with a range of materials such as resins, gelcoats, fiberglass, foam, and structural adhesives. Key responsibilities include installing components into fiberglass hulls and decks, operating tools like saws, drills, and grinders, and working from blueprints and work instructions. Adherence to strict safety standards, including proper chemical handling and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respirators and chemical-resistant suits, is paramount. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and potentially non-air-conditioned environment, with the capacity to stand, bend, reach, and climb for extended periods (10+ hour shifts). Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs is necessary. Flexibility for planned and unplanned overtime is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong record of dependability, reliability, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Proficiency in reading tape measures and blueprints is required, with preferred skills in forklift operation, overhead hoists, computer usage, and fiberglass/gel-coat applications. Marine industry experience is highly preferred.
