About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. Based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, this role offers the flexibility of our "Work From Anywhere" culture. You will play a key role in developing, testing, and supporting Java-based microservices using Spring Boot for a global leader in contact center software. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust Java microservices utilizing Spring Boot.
• Assist in the design and implementation of scalable and reliable software features.
• Provide support and troubleshoot existing services under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, QA specialists, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices for cloud-based application development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Java development, specifically with Spring Boot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture principles.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and grow.
• General understanding of version control systems (Git).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Docker or other containerized environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Familiarity with specific cloud services (e.g., Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions).
