Java Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
• Integrate backend services with Next.js applications and ensure smooth data flow.
• Work on external API integrations with third-party services and platforms.
• Develop and manage microservices architecture and ensure efficient service communication.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code following best practices.
• Perform API testing using Postman and automate test cases when necessary.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to align with project goals.
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ensure smooth data operations.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide efficient solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-4 years of experience in backend development using Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Postman for API testing and documentation.
• Familiarity with Next.js integration and handling API requests.
• Experience working with third-party API integrations (e.g., payment gateways, external services).
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Good understanding of SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
