IT Portfolio Manager

TekSynap, a rapidly expanding high-tech company, understands the dynamic pace of modern technology and the critical need for a robust, well-planned information management environment. We are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to spearhead the planning, governance, prioritization, and optimization of major IT investments. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT programs and projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and deliver maximum value across the entire IT portfolio. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise-level IT portfolio planning, coordination, and governance; develop and maintain the IT investment portfolio roadmap; analyze project proposals for technical, strategic, and financial coherence; facilitate portfolio review boards and prioritization cycles; provide clear visibility into portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics; monitor cost, schedule, and performance; conduct business case analysis; coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, operations, finance, and leadership; ensure compliance with organizational policies, federal IT governance, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise architecture standards; and offer advisory support for maturing portfolio processes, tools, and reporting frameworks. This is an on-site, full-time position in Reston, VA.
