About the Role
This position reports to the Global IS Observability Manager.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing a central monitoring and alerting platform. This platform integrates all Core IS services within an architecturally complex environment, requiring a deep understanding of hosting, network, and application services, common integration practices, and best practices in IT operations.
The work model for this position is hybrid/remote. This role contributes to Core IS on a global scale, with key stakeholders including IS Process Owners, IS Service Owners, IS Service Managers, the IS Observability Framework Lead, IS Observability Monitoring Specialists, and MSP Point of Contacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the development, support, and configuration of the central AIOps platform (APEX).
- Configuration and management of integrations for monitoring sources, such as Dynatrace, Checkmk, and cloud-native solutions, with the platform.
- Configuration and management of outbound integrations from the AIOps platform to systems like ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Blue Prism.
- Provide L3 support for technical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and expansion of the platform's core capabilities.

Qualifications
- Exceptional complex technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think innovatively and a curious mindset. Strong scripting knowledge is essential.
- A strong technical understanding of working within a connected and distributed environment model comprising multiple applications.
- Demonstrated success in improving proactive event management or other processes across medium to large organizations.
- Proficiency in working with third-party and internal service providers responsible for application, system software, and production infrastructure management.
- Excellent documentation skills, with experience in creating support documentation for both users and the Operations Team.
- In-depth understanding of container orchestration services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps concepts.
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating system environments.
- A fundamental understanding of infrastructure and applications.
- Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell, Python, or similar.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is preferred.
