Full Job Description
Princess Cruises, a premier global travel brand, is seeking a motivated HR Analytics Intern to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide critical analytical and strategic support to our HR department, focusing on processing and analyzing employment data to drive key organizational priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill complex ad-hoc and recurring data and report requests from HR Program Management, PCL HR, and other departments.
- Analyze data from various sources to derive insights and inform strategic HR decision-making.
- Identify trends, draw conclusions, and propose solutions for performance enhancement.
- Design, develop, and analyze HR reports and presentations.
- Contribute to projects as an analyst.
- Support and coordinate ad-hoc programs and projects, including surveys and communications.
- Collaborate with the Specialist, HR Program Management, on developing new HR processes and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to expand PCL HR Analytics capabilities.
- Embody the company's Culture Essentials as part of a project team.
- Collaborate with HR teammates on various initiatives.
- Partner with the Communications team on survey creation and distribution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills, comfort with ambiguity, and a passion for innovative problem-solving.
- Experience structuring data from disparate sources, creating cohesive reports, and delivering compelling data visualizations and storytelling.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, especially under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee data.
- This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in the office (Tuesday – Thursday) in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience extracting and manipulating data from large enterprise data platforms or systems is a plus.
