Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts and system logs for potential threats and breaches.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
Respond to security incidents, assist in investigations, and document findings.
Provide guidance to the IT team on timely application of security patches and updates.
Implement and maintain data protection measures, including encryption, backup strategies, and access controls.
Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Promote best practices for handling sensitive information and preventing cyber threats like phishing.
Stay abreast of the latest security trends, tools, and threats.

Qualifications and Preferred Profile

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Preferred certifications include Lead Auditor/Implementor, CompTIA Security+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cloud security.
