Full Job Description
Hilcorp is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Co-Op Student to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. This role offers a valuable opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in accounting and administrative functions within our Accounts Payable Department. You will support daily operations by assisting with routine clerical, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering and directing telephone calls from staff, public, and outside vendors.
- Opening, date stamping, and scanning mail, logging all entries into the SharePoint system.
- Performing copying, book binding, and scanning projects.
- Preparing and submitting expense reports for department members.
- Maintaining Outlook contact files.
- Handling special projects as assigned.
- Demonstrating initiative in anticipating needs and acting proactively.
- Adhering to company values: integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation.
- Supporting the company's vision and mission.
- Assisting with overflow work as needed.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to commit to 20-30 hours per week.
