Gotion Inc., a leading innovator in power battery technology, is seeking a dedicated HVAC & Utilities Engineer/Supervisor for its facility in Manteno, IL. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of industrial HVAC systems that underpin our advanced electric vehicle and energy storage manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our complex industrial HVAC infrastructure, including factory air conditioning, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Desiccant Dehumidification Units (DHUs), and chilled water systems. Key responsibilities involve daily inspections, developing preventive maintenance plans, diagnosing and repairing equipment failures, maintaining associated mechanical systems like piping and ductwork, and supporting equipment commissioning and optimization. This position also involves contributing to the development of maintenance standards and SOPs, coordinating with cross-functional teams (Facilities, Production, EHS), and potentially leading future HVAC engineering and technical staff. Shift coverage, including night shifts, may be required.
