About the Role
As a GCP Observability Engineer in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your deep expertise in GCP observability services will be key to ensuring our systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient, thereby delivering exceptional value to our internal customers.
The Team
The Observability and Application Services team, a vital part of Digital Technology Services (DTS), is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale, data-driven systems that support corporate applications, shared services, and information security. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and impactful team that provides tangible value to our internal customers by leveraging modern cloud platforms and services to deliver insights and enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities and Impact
- Serve as the GCP technical lead within a team experiencing rapid growth in GCP adoption.
- Design and implement technical integrations to support enterprise-scale observability and data pipelines feeding into GCP.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure robust deployment processes.
- Deploy OpenTelemetry at scale for monitoring, APM tracing, and performance optimization.
- Create detailed documentation and architectural diagrams, and present solutions to peers and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical subject.
- Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at an enterprise scale, ideally with relevant certifications.
- Demonstrated scripting/coding experience in at least one of: Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience working with code repositories (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills Required
- Ability to articulate ideas and designs effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient documentation skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an Agile (Scrum) team environment.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with enterprise observability tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI workflows and an understanding of LLM Observability concepts.
