Full Job Description
Yahoo, a leading global media and technology firm in the United States, is actively seeking an experienced Game Producer to spearhead the creation and production of original games for the Yahoo Games platform. This pivotal role requires end-to-end production management, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality game titles.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the complete production lifecycle for Yahoo Games' first-party original titles, from initial concept to live operations.
- Partnering with Product Management and Game Design to define game vision, core mechanics, features, and overall scope.
- Assessing game scope to ensure feasibility within established timelines.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and key milestones across design, engineering, art, QA, and live operations.
- Organizing and coordinating internal teams and external development partners for seamless project execution.
- Managing the end-to-end process for third-party game integrations, including intake, scheduling, coordination with external developers, and internal readiness checks.
- Collaborating closely with Engineering, QA, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to ensure third-party games adhere to Yahoo's standards and requirements.
- Driving Agile workflows, encompassing backlog management, story creation, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Working hand-in-hand with engineers, designers, and asset creators to resolve dependencies and facilitate delivery.
- Managing QA processes to guarantee high-quality releases across desktop and mobile web platforms.
- Supporting post-launch live operations, including updates, bug fixes, content refreshes, and performance optimization.
- Clearly communicating project status, potential risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership.
- Championing quality, player experience, and sustainable development practices throughout the production process.
Qualifications:
