Fullstack Developer

Role Overview

Orangepeople is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience to contribute to the development and enhancement of modern web applications. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in both front-end and back-end technologies and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine web application features utilizing contemporary front-end and back-end technologies.
• Construct responsive and user-centric interfaces with React or Angular, demonstrating a solid command of HTML/CSS.
• Implement server-side logic using Node.js, Java, or Python, powering APIs and backend services.
• Design, develop, and manage interactions with databases such as MongoDB, SQL, or cloud-native data stores.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure fluid communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Support the deployment of applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, under supervision.
• Aid in debugging, testing, and resolving application-related issues.
• Engage collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features and system improvements.
• Adhere to best practices for version control, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in full-stack or general software development.
• Hands-on proficiency in at least one of the following:
  • Frontend: React or Angular
  • Backend: Node.js or Java or Python
• A robust understanding of HTML/CSS and fundamental web design principles.
• Experience with database technologies including MongoDB, SQL, or similar.
• Exposure to major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and their integration into backend services.
• Proficiency in using Git and experience in team-based software development environments.
• A proactive attitude towards learning, adapting, and expanding technical capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to serverless or cloud-native services like Lambda, Azure App Services, or Cloud Functions.
• A foundational understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
