In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our store remains clean, well-stocked, and provides an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their project needs, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and efficiently managing incoming freight. We are looking for team players who are committed to delivering SMART customer service and supporting overall store operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects
- Stocking merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
- Supporting store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
- Operating store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed
- Contributing as a team player to complete other assigned tasks
- Utilizing the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders
- Loading delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices
- Rotating orders by delivery date and resolving customer order issues
- Proactively communicating with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction
- Executing Delivery Readiness best practices
