About the Role

Draft N Craft Legal Outsourcing P. Ltd is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with robust experience in Java and Python, complemented by practical knowledge of AI model integration and prompt engineering. The ideal candidate will be adept at building scalable backend systems, implementing API integrations, and developing modern web applications. Comfort in integrating AI models, such as OpenAI APIs, into enterprise solutions is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Familiarity with Cursor IDE is a plus.
• Develop responsive front-end applications utilizing React, Angular, or Vue.
• Integrate third-party APIs (REST, JSON-based).
• Work with PostgreSQL, including designing optimized schemas; sharding knowledge is advantageous.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines.
• Integrate AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI).
• Design and optimize prompts for AI workflows.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Deploy applications using Docker and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

AI & Prompt Engineering Requirements (Preferred)

• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar).
• Understanding of: Prompt design techniques, Few-shot prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Embeddings & semantic search.
• Experience using AI for: Document processing, Metadata extraction, Text classification, Summarization workflows.

Technical Skills Required

Backend: Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask), REST API Development, PostgreSQL / MySQL, Redis / Caching.

Frontend: React.js / Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.

DevOps: Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).

AI & Data: OpenAI API integration, Vector databases (optional: Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), Data processing pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems & sharding strategies.
• Experience with data systems or large document datasets.
• Familiarity with Celery / message queues.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, performance optimization).
