Internship Details:

• Role Type: Backend Developer Intern
• Location: Fully Remote (applicable for candidates in India and globally)
• Duration: 6 Months
• Stipend: Unpaid (successful completion includes valuable experience, certification, and a Letter of Recommendation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and meticulously maintain robust server-side applications and core backend logic.
• Design and implement efficient REST APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend elements.
• Work extensively with various databases, including both SQL and NoSQL solutions such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, for effective data storage and retrieval.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing backend systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth API handovers and overall system functionality.
• Write clean, scalable, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic foundational understanding of popular backend frameworks, including Node.js, Django, Flask, or SpringBoot.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and fundamental server-side architecture principles.
• Familiarity with database management systems, specifically MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment, consistently meeting project deadlines.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a closely related technical field.
