About The Role

As a Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components and enhancing the user experience of our web mobile applications. You will work closely with our AI and Backend teams to build and present state-of-the-art plant insights for crops worldwide. In this role, you will be primarily focused on building and supporting React-based applications such as our Bloomfield Dashboard - where our customers see and interact with our data. You will collaborate closely with our design and back-end teams to translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional and responsive web interfaces. This role offers hybrid or fully remote flexibility, though we have a Lawrenceville, PA office.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in front-end or other software engineering roles
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work and projects
• Experience with other front-end technologies like MUI and Progressive Web Apps
• Demonstrated experience in building responsive and visually appealing web applications
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with git and common git workflows
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in front-end development

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable front-end components for both the Bloomfield Dashboard and our internal component library using React, TypeScript, and other technologies like Material UI, Redux, and LaunchDarkly
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and enforce best practices
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components and help guide API design
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces
• Stay informed of industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving front-end issues to ensure optimal application performance
