- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience
- Be a licensed attorney, CPA, EA or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation
- Ability to read and interpret IRS Code, regulations and instructions
- Strong writing skills for policy and procedure writing is a must
- Ability to interface with all facets of our business

Full Job Description
EY, a prominent leader in serving the global financial services sector, is actively recruiting a Tax Services Manager for its Financial Services Office in Washington, DC. This pivotal role centers on U.S. tax information reporting and withholding matters. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients to ensure accurate implementation of tax regulations and drive enhancements to their operational processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include daily interaction with internal teams (superiors, peers, and subordinates) and external clients on a diverse range of Customer Tax Operations and Reporting (CTOR) projects. This involves interpreting complex IRS Code and Regulations, developing internal guidance, performing data analysis, and defining requirements to assist clients in translating and implementing these tax rules. You may also conduct gap analyses of existing client policies, procedures, and systems, and draft comprehensive business requirements. The role entails contributing to the preparation of essential documentation, such as presentations and flowcharts, and engaging in technical analysis, process improvement initiatives, and responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
Furthermore, this position offers the opportunity to support the development of cutting-edge technology solutions and mentor and manage staff located in remote delivery centers, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
