Field Reimbursement Manager

Join McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare leader, as a Field Reimbursement Manager in Missouri, United States. In this critical role, you will manage an assigned territory, providing essential support for reimbursement and patient services. Your responsibilities will include addressing patient reimbursement challenges, educating physician offices on the complex payer landscape, and detailing available support services. You will conduct on-site and virtual educational sessions, averaging 15 per week, to staff on reimbursement challenges and available support, including benefit investigations, prior authorization processes, and Medicare/Commercial coverage. You will also provide in-depth reimbursement support covering case management, billing and coding, claims submission, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit interpretation, medical necessity, claims and appeal assistance, and co-pay/patient assistance programs. This role requires proactive appointment setting, outbound calls, casework completion, and collaboration with physicians and manufacturer representatives. You will meticulously track all interactions and activities in the FRM CRM daily, reporting to management and clients. Performance monitoring of program effectiveness for physicians and manufacturer representatives will be key, with data analyzed and reported quarterly. A significant part of this role involves building and maintaining a provider/manufacturer representative specific information database within the FRM CRM, including creating facility databases for new providers. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring 80% travel within your territory.
