Field Application Specialist - Ahmedabad at Cytiva: Drive sales and customer satisfaction through technical expertise. Provide application support, training, and troubleshooting for Cytiva's products, including Biacore systems and AKTA purification systems. Responsibilities include assay design, pre-sales activities like product presentations, workshops, and training for internal teams. This remote, field-based role requires extensive travel within the region, with potential travel to South Asia (SAARC). This position is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Responsibilities:

• Provide field application support, training and troubleshooting to customers.
• Assay designing for bio-similarity/bio-comparability testing.
• Pre-sales activities like product presentations, workshops, and roadshows.
• Conducting training courses for internal teams.
• Helping the commercial team build and maintain a healthy sales funnel.

Requirements:

• Masters (MS/MSc/MTech) with 5 years of experience or PhD in Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Lifesciences/Biotechnology/ any allied sciences to Biotechnology with strong knowledge of protein purification, molecular cloning and recombinant DNA technology.
• Knowledge of protein purification using low pressure chromatography and protein characterization using SPR or orthogonal techniques is needed.
• Experience and/or understanding of working in a regulated environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good presentation skills and knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD is added advantage
