Experienced Software Developer

Boeing India's Software Engineering team is seeking an Experienced Software Developer - Full Stack (Java/.net) to join their Tech Solutions team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this role, you will develop and maintain software applications and digital products that deliver direct customer value. Responsibilities include documenting and maintaining architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs; developing software requirements; coding and integrating software components; and selecting/deploying software processes, tools, and metrics. You will act as a subject matter expert, track team performance, collaborate with Product Owners and Development Leads to clarify requirements, and mentor team members on best practices. The role emphasizes code quality, thorough testing, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent.
• 8 years of relevant experience in .NET Full Stack (C#) or Java Full Stack development.
• Proficiency in UI Frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper). Familiarity with NoSQL databases is also expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Nest JS/Node JS.
• Experience in AI/ML programming.
• Knowledge of Python, Django, or Flask.
• Basic understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Exposure to GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, and Coverity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in the Aviation domain is a plus.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
