Epi Growth Technician

Join Coherent Corp., a global leader in lasers and engineered materials, as an Epi Growth Technician in Sherman, TX on the B shift. This critical role supports on-shift operations and ensures the consistent maintenance of production processes within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams on developing new workflows, advancing process development, and conducting data analysis, all while upholding stringent quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include facilitating cross-shift communication, managing run-to-run VCSEL/PD production on reactors, operating and interpreting SPC charts, performing basic OCAPS, and conducting additional characterization techniques as needed. You will also be responsible for training operations staff on Work Instructions, assisting engineering with new workflow and process development, gathering and analyzing data, and creating new work instructions for operations. Collaboration with other process areas will be essential. A strong understanding of statistical process control and the ability to work effectively in a Class 100 cleanroom environment are required. All employees must adhere to site and corporate EHS procedures and relevant ISO standards.
