Topa Group, Inc. is actively seeking a skilled Electronic Security Technician to join a rapidly expanding Electronic Security Integrator serving the dynamic DC-Baltimore metropolitan area. This role is integral to the successful installation, programming, servicing, and troubleshooting of complex integrated security systems across diverse commercial and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute system installation and commissioning with precision.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and respond effectively to service calls.
- Perform device programming for various security components.
- Interpret and work from project plans and schematics.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Provide exceptional end-user support and training.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in installing, programming, servicing, and troubleshooting integrated security systems in commercial and enterprise settings.
- Experience with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Commitment to ensuring projects meet all relevant codes, are completed on schedule, and adhere to client standards.
- Demonstrated ability in system installation and commissioning.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and performing service calls.
- Proficient in device programming.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and schematics.
- Experience coordinating with project teams.
- Capability in providing end-user support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with systems such as DMP, Genetec, Lenel, C-CURE, and AMAG.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring principles.
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- In-depth knowledge of access control hardware.
