Electrical Engineer

About the Job

Lucent Worldwide seeks a technically proficient Electrical Engineer with 3-4 years of site-oriented experience to support our lighting design projects in the Delhi NCR region. This role involves managing multiple project sites, coordinating with internal design teams and external stakeholders, ensuring technical compliance on-site, and upholding top-tier lighting design consultancy standards. Knowledge of lighting design is beneficial, but strong electrical fundamentals, drawings, BOQs, tender documentation, and site coordination are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Project Coordination

• Manage and monitor multiple project sites across Delhi NCR and nearby cities.
• Conduct regular site visits, attend technical meetings, and represent Lucent Worldwide professionally.
• Prepare detailed site visit reports and share structured feedback with the design team.

Technical & Documentation Support

• Read, interpret, and coordinate electrical and lighting drawings.
• Prepare and review BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documentation.
• Support design intent execution by coordinating with vendors, contractors, and site engineers.

Drawings & Software

• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD for site and tender stages.
• Assist in resolving site-level technical issues through drawings, details, and clarifications.

Communication & Representation

• Act as a front-facing representative of a leading lighting design consultancy.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external consultants.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in electrical works, site execution, or consultancy roles.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, lighting installations, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with computers, email communication, documentation, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of lighting design is a strong advantage but not mandatory.

Mobility & Travel Requirements

• Must own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler and be fully mobile.
• Open to frequent travel within Delhi NCR and nearby cities.
• Ability to independently manage travel, site schedules, and reporting.

Employment Terms

• Initial probation period of 6 months, followed by confirmation based on performance.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and capability.
