- Demonstrated ability to perform process based and risk based audits
- Initiated, approved and monitored corrective actions associated with audit findings
- Planned, performed and led different QMS audits based upon IATF 16949 and ISO 9001
- Performed training on AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC and FMEA)
- Performed Product Audits per applicable CSRs
- Led 3P-5Whys root cause analysis

Cummins Inc., a global leader in power solutions, is seeking a skilled Quality System Technician for its Columbus, IN facility. This 1st shift position involves conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Responsibilities include planning and leading training sessions, performing root cause analysis using methodologies like 3P5Y, and managing corrective actions to continuously improve our quality management system. You will also be responsible for maintaining audit documentation, leading QMS audits, and supporting the implementation of AIAG Core Tools such as FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, and PPAP. This role requires a strong understanding of customer-specific requirements and experience with digital QMS systems.
