We are seeking a passionate .NET Backend Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing secure, scalable backend services using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, and SQL Server. This Pune-based role requires experience with Azure Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and strong API development and data access fundamentals. Basic exposure to Angular and JavaScript is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and optimized queries on MSSQL.
• Apply secure coding standards including JWT and OAuth.
• Integrate backend services with Azure Blob Storage and other Azure components.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Write and maintain unit tests.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend teams.
• Follow best practices for REST API design.

Must-Have Skills

• 3-5 years of C and .NET Core experience (.NET 6+ / .NET 8 preferred).
• Strong ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, and LINQ experience.
• Solid MSSQL and query performance tuning understanding.
• Hands-on JWT/OAuth security experience.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Azure Cloud Services exposure.
• Azure DevOps CI/CD experience.
• xUnit / NUnit and Postman experience.
• Good communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic Angular understanding.
• JavaScript and Adobe Acrobat scripting experience.
• Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools, logging frameworks, or Docker.
• Knowledge of general security practices.
